Actor menu

Add: Creates a new actor with content from a selected file and places it in the current movie. Files can also be dragged into a movie.
Compress Video/Audio: Compresses a video or audio file or group of files. The Compress Video/Audio window allows you to set video dimensions, frame rates, and compressor options, so you can optimize your digital content for low-bandwidth playback.
New Sprite Track: Creates a new sprite track and places it in the current movie. Actors in sprite tracks animate smoothly and can be interactive.
New Invisible Sprite Track: Creates a new invisible sprite track and places it in the current movie. Invisible sprite tracks provide a way to add interactive hot-spots to actors which should not be placed in a sprite track, such as stationary video clips and VR panoramas.
New Actor Sequence: Creates a new actor sequence and places it in the current movie. Actor sequences allow actors and tracks to be displayed in chronological order, with transitions between them. Each actor in an actor sequence uses the actor sequence's position, size and other visual properties.
Name: Changes the name of the selected actor. Naming actors makes it easier to work with large projects containing multiple actors. In addition, many actions require that the actor they are changing be named.

File-based actors are given the name of their file by default.

Mouse Click Content: Specifies alternate content to display when the user clicks the current actor. Image actors such as bitmap and vector graphics display more quickly than other media such as text or No-Bandwidth media, so we strongly recommend that you use images for mouse click content.
Mouse Over Content: Specifies alternate content to display when the pointer is positioned over the current actor. Image actors such as bitmap and vector graphics display more quickly than other media such as text or No-Bandwidth media, so we strongly recommend that you use images for mouse over content.
